Links2Care and Georgetown Bread Basket are thrilled to share that we have decided to co-host this year’s Coldest Night of the Year CNOY walkathon in Halton Hills to raise money for food and support for people in need.
So mark your calendars for February 25, 2023 and Gather TOGETHER with us for good!
What is CNOY?
Each year tens of thousands of Canadians step out of the warmth and comfort of home to walk in solidarity with those who may have no warmth, comfort or even a home to go back to.
We all know that the pandemic and worldwide political instability continue to have major repercussions on our economy, the job market, housing, mental and physical health and so much more. Many people are struggling to maintain their dignity and wellbeing in the face of homelessness, food insecurity and anxiety and depression. And though many others want to help, we often just don’t know how.
Well here is your opportunity. By walking, donating, sponsoring, and championing this wonderfully warm and winterrific event, you will be helping LInks2Care and Georgetown Bread Basket to provide food and essentials and community support and guidance to Halton Hillers in need as they have done for the past 2 decades.
Please visit www.cnoy.org/haltonhills or email [email protected] or call 905-873-6502 to hear more about how you too can warm spirits, hearts and tummies. Or click on the links to get started right away!
