Shop Assist is for seniors, adults with disabilities, and single parents who:

  • require essential grocery items;
  • are unable to shop independently; AND
  • have no family/friend supports available;
  • have a debit/credit card for payment of groceries (delivery is free) as we are unable to accept cash transactions.

Shop Assist Process:

  • Client phones in bi-weekly on Monday between 9am-2pm to place their order.
  • Staff inputs the order online to a local store via their click & collect service.
  • A volunteer is assigned to collect and deliver the groceries.
  • Staff informs the client of the date and time of their grocery delivery.
